A comprehensive view on massage and bodywork during the postpartum period. Students will learn from an Ayurvedic Postpartum Doula so that optimal balance and restoration can be regained in this critical time period following the birth of a child.
In this treatment, students will learn to administer a rocking, nurturing, cocooning massage using rich sesame seed oil infused with grounding herbs to nourish the mother’s tissues after birth. Students will learn about the use of Ayurvedic herbs during postpartum care and other natural self-care techniques that will greatly benefit the new mother. Warm Oil Massage after giving birth can nourish the new mother for years to come.
